What a memorable day! Yesterday was Game 3 of the playoff series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals, and the whole city was buzzing with excitement.

In the afternoon, we headed to the Bell Centre, and it was already bustling with people. “Imagine what it’ll be like tonight!” I said to my son Martin. My grandson Laurent was working at the Monster Drinks stand — he’s been living in Montreal for a few months now and loves it here.

When we arrived, Martin quickly recognized Patrice Brisebois, the former Canadiens defenseman (#43), who was part of the Stanley Cup–winning team in 1993.

Later, we drove to Mascouche to watch the game with the WinnebegoHabsGo caravan. Traffic was crazy — what would normally be a 25-minute drive took us 90 minutes!

Martin and I listen to JIC (Jean-Charles Lajoie) every day, so it was a real pleasure to meet him in person! He was very friendly, and we even had the chance to be interviewed by him. It was a true privilege to spend some quality time with JIC and to experience the Canadiens’ victory alongside such an enthusiastic group.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Daphnée, an independent journalist working for RDS. We shared our life philosophies and experiences, and quickly built a wonderful friendship.

All in all, it was a full, dynamic, and exciting day!

This morning, with a gentle rain falling, we’re planning some indoor activities. We’re thinking about visiting the Biodôme or another attraction, and later we’ll go for dinner with my beloved Laurent.
